For those that want to use your onboard microphone jack instead of your sound card jack. I have a Sound Blaster Augidy 2 ZS and I am unable to use it because there is some kind of problem. If you are having this issue, this guide will show you how to make your on board microphone jack your primary.

First thing though, take out your microphone, wait a few seconds, plug it back in and than see if there are no issues. For some people, this works. If it does not work and you still having problems, follow this guide.

Start Menu -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices.

Click on the "Audio" tab

Select the dropdown menu "Sound Recording" and select your onboard sound. Click OK.

That's it. If you have not done so already, replug your microphone into the onboard jack. Enjoy and happy hunting.
